Tia German Shepherd Dog Chicago, IL

Meet Tia! This adorable girl was found as a stray in the south suburbs. Tia is about a year old and weighs approximately 50 lbs. She is very sweet and loves her people! When she first arrived to her foster home, it didn’t seem like she had much exposure to inside life. Tia now can use stairs, goes outside for potty breaks, and understands what a dog bed is! She does have prey drive and will pull on leash for squirrels and other small animals. Tia was definitely an outside dog and loves her backyard. She is able to hold her bladder for about 6 hours right now and is doing well alerting her foster mom when it is time to go out. Though she is smaller, she is a fiesty girl that will push her way to get attention. She is dog friendly, just know she wants to be the boss! Tia seems to really like kids when she sees them on walks, but hasn’t been formerly introduced. She is an intelligent pup and would do great in training classes.
