Thunder Staffordshire Bull Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Rochester, NY

We have a LOT of sweet dogs here at the rescue, but THUNDER is among the top - super friendly, affectionate, and loving! Just basks in all of the attention he can get. Thunder is good with other dogs so far and loves kids, too. Thunder has popped up what we call light Heartworm positive - we've sent the results out for retesting but are starting a med protocol in the meantime just to be safe. Any treatments needed in this regard will be covered by the rescue. He's a big baby and a lover - estimated at about 5 years old, he's got SO much unconditional love to offer his forever home! (He's about 70 lbs) He's one of only a handful of dogs we'd consider for adoption into homes with a baby or toddler - he's the cream of the crop and will make some lucky family such a wonderful addition!

Adoption fee covers: all vetting to age (including deworming, deflea etc ), spay/neuter and microchip after 6 months of age at our clinic, $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes, and lifetime support of rescue.

We do most application processing virtually and dog meets are done individually by appointment with ONLY APPROVED APPLICANTS. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-home-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available.

PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, they are still available at that time. Also, our adoption area is within a several hour radius of us in Rochester, NY (NOT including Canada for puppies who haven’t yet gotten their rabies vaccine, usually around 16 weeks - sorry!)
