Meet Teton Bill
Teton Bill is a Great Pyrenees that is the "real deal". He was surrendered to a poodle rescue in South Carolina along with his poodle friend when his older breeder/owners could no longer take care of them. He will be 4 in May. Teton is about as chill as the come. He is well mannered with no jumping or pushiness. He was a house dog, and that is the kind of life he is looking for up here. He is a low energy, stroll rather than march kind of guy. He has excellent leash skills, loves to ride in a car, and hang out with his people. He is excellent around animals in general, including cats. He lived with a small dog successfully, and hung out at a poodle rescue before coming north to Maine. He is not a barky kind of pyr, and he is way past the chewing stage. While he did not live with children, he did well with the ones he met at the poodle rescue. The one thing Teton DOES NOT want is his life is a rambunctious housemate that constantly wants to play. He has done very well with the calm chill dogs here which are girls. If you are looking for a big, calm guy, Teton may be your guy. He is neutered , UTD on vaccines and worming, microchipped and heartworm negative and on preventative as well. His adoption fee is 400.00. If you have any questions about Teton, or wish to put an application in on him, please email Robin at wmgprescue@gmail.com.
