Arrival story: Spent a long stint at the Saginaw County Animal Shelter.

Approximate age / Weight: 10-years-old and 66 lbs.

Personality: The Duchess has arrived. The Duchess of Waggin’ Tails that is! Ruler of the foster dog kingdom or errr… her foster home. Tess is a spunky lady, who loves to snuggle, go for walks, play with her tiny toys and zoomie around the yard.

Queen Tess is a pretty easy-going lady and loves to just hang out with her people on her throne (couch) after taking you on a parade around her kingdom (neighborhood). She knows sit, and has more of a refined palate and leans into being more of a meat and potato type of girl.

Tess is kind to all her subjects (cat and dog-tested). She is nervous around new people, so a slow introduction with lots of treats is the way to this queen’s heart.

New Home: She likes to hang out with her people and is a great daily walking buddy. Would be happy living with other animals, but she’d also be happy to eat up all the attention she truly deserves as the only Queen in your home. Are you willing to roll out the red carpet for her?
