Meet Tess

My name's Tess. Everyone who meets me says I'm utterly adorable and unique. Then, they ask what I am. A lady doesn't divulge her heritage, but the volunteers believe I am a Papillon mix. With my precious ears and longish, silky coat, that's a good guess. Another breed or two must be in my gene pool because I weigh about 18 lbs. A small girl with a delicate, narrow body. Bet you've never seen pretty coloring like mine. I even have freckles. I am 2-3 years old, a very sweet, friendly dog with a sensitive nature. I was shy when I first came to rescue, but I am blossoming. Because I came from a home with little attention or love, I am eager for someone to hold me. I enjoy going for walks and being close. I was raised with other dogs and cats, if you have either. My former person made me have litters. Thanks to the volunteers, I am now spayed, vaccinated and heartworm/Lyme tested.
