TEQUILA is a gentle sweetheart! She is a 2 year old Pit Bull mix with a beautiful coat and she weighs 57 lbs. One of her favorite volunteers recently took her out for an adventure! Tequila enjoyed every single minute of her day out!! She got to go shopping for new stuffies that she picked out, got a new purple coat-which is her favorite color, and enjoyed some Chick-fil-A! She did amazing in the car, she loved it! She was such a perfect girl! She would love a family of her very own that will show her love and spoil her every day!
Before Tequila was rescued she was abandoned and laid on the front porch of the house waiting for her person to come back. ? She deserves a person that won’t give up on her.
Here is what you need to know about her:
* She loves toys
* She loves soft blankets and beds
* She loves to go for walks and car rides
* She loves Crab Rangoon’s and Chick-fil-A
* She loves to go shopping, especially to pick out her own stuffies!
* She is crate trained and keeps her kennel
clean
* She likes other dogs, but wants to meet any potential dog siblings. No little dogs or cats for her
Tequila is a sweetie and will be a loyal companion!
ADOPTING A PET
We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.
If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.
Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).
