Name: Tenzig
Nicknames: Ziggy, Shark Baby, Bubba
Age: 4 months (as of 11/22/19)
Activity Level: Medium-ish. I’m still a puppy so I like to play but I also love naps!
Things I do in my free time: Chew toys since I'm teething, Fetch!, try to play with my foster sisters (dogs), snuggle my foster humans and sometimes nap.
Things I know: How to sit, how not to jump up on people, working on potty training almost a real good boy!, How to be calm in my crate and not go potty in it overnight.
Things I am learning: Not to bite the foster humans with my shark teeth and manners from my dog foster sisters. Since I’m teething it’s been a challenge learning not to use my teeth but since I’ve been with MPBR (which hasn’t been very long) I’ve improved on this so much.
Kids: Tenzig has only met one infant at a meet & greet. He was interested but was easily redirected so we feel kids wouldn't be an issue. He is an active puppy so he would need to be supervised around smaller children just to make sure his energy level is maintained. He will need to work on only chewing on his toys and making sure he doesn't bump into kids when he is energetic.
Dogs: Loves other dogs!
Cats: Haven't tested but not overly interested in squirrels or other furry things so I imagine he could learn to be quite cat savvy with the right cat.
Size: Currently 30 lbs at 4 months
Car rides: Does well in his doggy seat belt safely in the back seat. If given the opportunity would certainly prefer to climb on any human available!
Additional Info from foster parent: Ziggy is a wonderful, smart and sweet boy! He is learning so much so fast. We are confident he will be a wonderful pet for almost any type of home! He is learning to walk on a leash, he doesn't seem to care about the leash, he just gets distracted walking by all the smells. He loves his foster dog sisters and is learning how to play nice. He is teething and is learning to chew on toys instead of things he’s not supposed to. He is almost potty trained and is crate trained! Basically, he is a wonderful puppy with some good puppy energy and with exercise and toys he settles down very well. We would definitely keep this handsome and sweet boy if we didn't already have two amazing girls of our own! He is just so affectionate. He loves getting pets and giving kisses. He’s a great boy.
