• Adoption fees are as follows: 2-5 months old: $400, 6-9 months old: $350, 10+ months old: $250. This covers their Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, Microchip, 4DX, Fecal Tests, and Housing Costs. ********************************************************************************************************

Tegan is 7 years old and we've had the opportunity to care for her for the last three months. We have fallen head over heels. If you don't have other pets, Tegan is the dog for you. She is gentle with people and sweet with kids. We introduced her to our friends' 6-month-old baby, and she licked his toes. She grew up with two kids in her first family, so she's great with older children too.

Tegan is a strong dog - we lovingly call her burly babe. She pulls on walks - she likes to go after squirrels, rabbits, and birds, but her prong collar really helps (a perfect example of why Tegan would do best in a home without cats). We keep her on a short leash around other dogs, but she doesn't bark or growl at them. Tegan has some issues with her back legs, so we limit going up and down stairs and give her a boost on the sofa once in a while. We've been giving her a daily hip and joint chew that seems to be helping.

Tegan loves to relax and hang out, but she also loves to go on walks and is very playful. Her favorite game is being chased around the house with a toy. Tegan is very smart and well-behaved. She is house trained & kennel trained. She hasn't gotten into stuff, including food, and doesn't bark much. We live in a duplex and when she used to bark and growl at our neighbors when they went to the basement, but all we had to do was yell "hey" a few times and she stopped barking at them.

Overall, Tegan would be a great addition to any family. She's sweet, loving, gentle and goofy.

Special Note- Tegan is on Proin for a leaky bladder and as long as she has her pill, there is no issue. It is about $50 every 6 months.
