Meet Teddy
Meet Teddy.
Teddy came to the shelter after a hard life on the streets. He was found trying to stay warm in a baby stroller, and that's how he earned the name Teddy Bear. When he first arrived, Teddy was terrified of people and so neglected that he refused to leave the shelter grounds, too scared of being abandoned again.
Today, Teddy is a smiling bundle of joy. He’s learned how to play, loves splashing in the kiddy pool, and enjoys his run time. He adores attention and is one of our best-behaved dogs on trips to the vet. Loyal and protective, his sweet smile and soulful eyes will melt your heart. He gets along well with other dogs and even cats!
Teddy is a special needs boy. He has a pancreatic issue, and we’re working to perfect his diet to manage it. He’s about 2-3 years old and weighs 46 pounds. If you’d like to meet Teddy, please reach out to SWIHS.
