Meet Teddy
This cutie is Teddy!
Teddy is an approximately 4-year old male Pug mix and weighs around 16 lbs. He was rescued from a local shelter.
Teddy is extremely playful and should definitely go to a home with another dog similar in size to play with. He chases cats so no cats in his new home. Teddy does best with smaller dogs. From what the foster has seen at the dog park, he doesn’t care for large dogs that get up in his business. He also can be nippy if he feels threatened, a home without toddlers would be best.
He absolutely adores children and would do great with kids who know how to behave with dogs and not frighten him. According to his foster he has interacted with kids at the park and with friends’ kids and he loves them.
Teddy would actually be a great running partner due to his energy! He requires a securely fenced back yard to play in.
Teddy is crate and leash trained. He knows “go to bed” means in the crate for the night! He is improving with his house-training, but will need continued work in that area.
He’s neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
