Teddy Bernese Mountain Dog Mix Oldtown, MD

TEDDY HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
Max was a stray in Cumberland, Maryland. A family found him, took him in for a couple of days while the tried to find him a home. Meanwhile he decided that he would crawl up into the son's bed and sleep with him a night. They already had two dogs and could not afford to keep another one. So after they couldn't find his owners they called The Ark of Hope. Once here at The Ark we decided that he didn't look like a Max but instead Teddy was more like it. When we called "Teddy" he turned his head and came running! So we are figuring that maybe that was his name before he came to us. He is a great dog, about 50 pounds, he loves to play with the other rescue dogs and love people! We believe that he is approx one year old/young! He has not been neutered yet but does have his booster shot and has been wormed. He will be getting his Rabies vaccine in a couple of days.
