Meet Taz Danforth!

It is a miracle Taz is alive!!! He was found by the side of the road, completely abandoned as a young little puppy. We are so grateful he is with us and nothing terrible happened to him when he was left is such an awful way.

Taz is an absolute doll. Taz is an approximately 1 year old supermutt mix! We aren’t sure what is in his breed mix, but he was very large for a puppy. He is just a perfect blend of many breeds - we think he has some mastiff in him as well as pitbull terrier or american staffordshire terrier! He is currently about 65+ pounds and could possibly grow close to 100 pounds. He is perfectly crate trained and will use potty pads if needed. He is also working on his leash training as he needs a firm hand to guide him given his strength and size! .

Taz is a gentle giant, as he has been raised around dogs, and children so he will fit in to a family very easily. All Taz needs now is that forever family!

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Taz Danforth.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
