Tater Black Labrador Retriever Missoula, MT

Tater is a black lab who is about 3 years old. He found himself at a very high volume and high kill shelter. Unlike many other dogs, he was lucky and got adopted a few months ago. But then he was returned. For stealing food... (maybe if you fed him enough, he wouldn't steal your food.... just saying). So now he was considered an owner surrender and owner surrenders get euthanized first because they are not on stray hold. A volunteer went to the shelter to pick up some other dogs for us and while she was waiting, she took Tater out into the shelter yard for some playtime. He was so sweet, friendly, well mannered, even tempered, and just overall a love bug so she begged me to save him as well. Long stroy short, now you have the chance to give this boy the home he truly deserves. He rides really well on the car, is great with all dogs and people and just overall a happy go lucky baby boy.

He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.

Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above)
