Tasha is a 4 year old, 40 pound Pit Bull Terrier and German Shepherd mix. Tasha is a 4 year old, 40 pound German Shepherd sand Pit Bull Terrier mix. She and her sister, Tasha, were adopted together when they were puppies in 2019. Their family could no longer care for them. They are a little shy in their pen here. Once they got outside to play with our volunteers today, their tails started wagging and their true personalities came out. They are quite devoted to one another, but we understand that the chances of one family being able to adopt both of them are slim. Tilly and Tasha will be fine in separate homes.

Adoption fees are $60, $30 or free. If the pet has been at the shelter more than 30 days, they are free. Check the INTAKE DATE on the adoption card to determine this. If the pet is 4 years of age or older OR if you adopt more than one pet, the fee is $30 for each pet. All others are $60. OKC Animal Welfare is open for adoptions from 12-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday. The shelter is at 2811 S.E. 29th St., phone # 405-297-3100.
The dog/cat adoption fee includes spay or neuter, MICROCHIP, age-appropriate shots and health check. Use pet's ID # when inquiring.
