Meet Tappy
Meet Tappy!
Tappy arrived with his 3 siblings after being found dumped in a Stockton Community park. The under-socialized and terrified puppies were found in a box before they were brought to the shelter and then to HFP. Today, Shorty is extremely shy and conflicted towards humans. For example, he can get defensive out of fear when directly approached in the home, but also will follow you around and snuggle.
He is adorable, but needs someone extra special..someone looking to actively help a pup with some extra TLC needs! Might you be his angel?
Despite his fearfulness of humans, Tappy loves life and is so content to just play with doggy friends and run around the backyard. We are seeking a home with a secure backyard and a dog-friend. We believe Tappy may love their next people after time and patience, but he will always be shy and not the kind of dog who would enjoy brewery trips or meeting tons of people. Tappy is perfect for homebodies who feel called to really change the ilfe of a dog in need.
$250 Adoption Donation includes: Exam, up to date on age appropriate shots, dewormed and flea tick treated, microchip w free lifetime registry and neuter agreement addendum
Fostered in Sacramento, CA
Interested in adopting?
1. Please complete our online form at heartsforpawsrescue.com/adoption-application
2. We will respond in 1-3 days for a call!
3. If it sounds like a potential match for you and the dog of interest, we will promptly set up a meet and greet at the foster home
Please note we are a foster-based rescue meaning our dogs are in individual foster homes throughout sac and the bay. For this reason we may only be able to schedule meets for one dog at a time (or litter). The average timeline between app submission and a meet and greet is 3-5 days. Please only submit an application for a specific dog if you are ready to adopt that animal within a week's time.
