Tanner is just enough spice to keep life interesting.

Oh don't worry, there is not a nip or bite in him but he did not get the memo that he is barely ankle high so is always ready to take on dogs, much bigger than him...at least from the safety of his side of the fence.

Tanner is such a unique and fun little guy. He is not clingy or demanding but he does love his people. He is not a huge snuggler but does love to be near. This lends itself to our theory of him having some Schipperke in him. He has a very tenacious nature and is afraid of nothing. He has a dense, soft thick coat and a sturdy little body that can move pretty quickly when it needs to. He can take or leave having dog friends and the ones he does have, sometimes do not enjoy his friendship that much since he can be fairly intense with his style of play. In his foster home, the resident cats seem to enjoy him, more than the dogs do, since he does not have overt opinions about where they can go, what they can play with and who they can be near, like he does with his fellow fosters dogs.

Yep, he's kind of a bossy little chap.

Tanner is about 3 years old and weighs a sturdy 11lbs. He is crate trained and good in a car but is still a work in progress with his leash training. It's not that he doesn't like it. He just doesn't understand it but he is learning and doing well.
Tanner has a quirky little personality that is fun to be around and is a pretty handsome and dapper little man. He is friendly with people and kitties and tolerates dogs but doesn't need canine companions, to be happy. As a matter of fact, he would probably love being an only dog and having all the humans to himself. He is an easy little guy to have around and has caught on to housebreaking pretty well, but is still learning. Potential adopters should be prepared to continue this part of his training.

Tanner is neutered, up to date on five way and rabies vaccinations, wormed, flea and tick free, microchipped and ready to bring some spice into your life.

His adoption fee is $325
