Talia Akita Elyria, OH

Talia is a gorgeous 5 year old Akita that arrived at FAPL due to the death of her owner. She’s a BIG gal, with a gentle, protective nature. She seeks out affection with a wagging tail and licks to give, this gentle soul would love down time hanging on the couch or playing in the yard to stretch her long legs. Talia was so very loved in her previous home and shared with her brother Bane, and she deserves to find the best home once again. Talia weighs 122 pounds, and with her breed and size, an adult home is preferred.

Due to her size and breed we want adopters to be mindful of any HOA or housing restrictions but are confident this loving lady would compliment any adopter looking for a large, fluffy lovebug.

No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption.

If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested.

Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
