TALA Husky & Labrador Retriever Mix Ironwood, MI

Introducing TALA, a 3 year old spayed female Husky / Lab mix that was surrendered so she could find a new home that was better suited to her personality. TALA is a very sweet, loving, curious, playful and energetic dog who loves her people but has shown some fearful reactions to strangers. She seems to lack in confidence and that shows in how she plays with other dogs, as she tries to be dominant and that resulted in the resident dog in her previous home becoming anxious and not acting like himself, so her owners made the difficult decision to find TALA a new home. TALA would probably do best in a home where the resident dog is accustomed to rough play and can tell TALA when enough is enough. She is reported to have a high prey drive, so we would recommend no cats in TALA’s forever home. TALA is house trained and kennel trained and loves taking walks and playing a good game of fetch. TALA has worked with a trainer in her previous home and we will forward that on to her new home to help her with a successful transition.
