Sweet Charlie Boy the Tripod Labrador Retriever & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Charlotte, NC

So you have looked at dozens of bios, and you’re wondering what will make you say, ‘That’s the one!’ Perhaps Charlie is the one for you, and you for him. At first, you notice his flashy black and white coloring; Charlie is strikingly handsome. Then you’ll notice the eyes: hopeful, gentle, and loving. You may than notice when he stands that he’s missing a leg, the result of a severe break that couldn’t be repaired when he came into rescue. But even that didn’t dampen his happy spirit. Charlie does really well with the small dogs in his foster home, and allows a bossy chihuahua to take over his bed without protest. He would do well as an only dog or with another small dog. We want Charlie to be successful in his forever home, so we’re going to suggest no cats.


He’s waiting patiently. All 52 pounds of him. We’ll be misty-eyed when he leaves, but the right home will feel this special boy’s love and be even more devoted than we are.
