Meet Sutton

Sutton is a beautiful, tri-colored hound mix of some kind (our best guess) who weighs 34 pounds at an estimated age of just under a year old. Sutton and her housemate, Jax (also posted for adoption), were rescued from an unsuitable living situation by the police in Tennessee. Since going into a TN-based foster home in January, these two have settled in very nicely. They love playing with each other, other dogs and chewing their toys. They even politely ignore the farm cats that wander around their foster home.

Sutton is a sweet girl who would do great on her own or together with her housemate Jax. She would love to have a doggie companion of some sort at her forever home though. If you can give this sweet girl her forever home, please apply today at this link:

If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.
Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
