Sunshine Golden Retriever Mix Oldtown, MD

A call came into The Ark of Hope Rescue about a beautiful dog that had been "hanging" around a family members home. When we arrived it was moments after a huge thunderstorm. We pulled up to the house to see a rain soaked dog, scared and hugging the front wall of the home. It was then that we found out that this poor, sweet dog had been outside of this house for almost 2 weeks! As we put this beautiful dog into the vehicle, the sun came out and a beautiful double rainbow shined accross the sky. Right away we started calling this Golden Retriever ~ "Sunshine!" even though Sunshine is beautiful and very friendly with people she definitely is a people dog not a dogs dog! Sunshine will have to be the only dog in her new adoptive home. Our vet believes that she has already been spayed, we vaccinated her and she is housebroken!
