Suki was left abandoned in a large, vacant parcel with her two sisters and mother. She was captured by the landowner and brought to our organization. Her weight was surprisingly good when we received her.
Shy, gentle, calm and tender!
New Horizon Dog Rescue guarantees the health of their dogs.  Our dogs are fed fresh vegetables and raw proteins as well as we rotate high quality commercial puppy foods, soaked in water overnight to mitigate hydration.  At bedtime our dogs are given their bedtime treat:  a hunk of raw sweet potato.  Sweet potatoes also serve to keep the teeth white and clean.  We fecal test regularly under a microscope and de-worm as needed.  Heartworm prevention is dosed once a month.  Vaccines-- core and rabies --are current, but we are alert to the fact that over vaccinating is the leading cause of cancer in dogs. Â
