Sugar is a 2-3 year old 19 lb female Schnauzer mix. She will be spayed this week & is UTD on vaccines. She has a course medium gray coat.

Sugar came to us as a stray when she was pregnant. She delivered her eight puppies 10 days after Rescue.

Sugar Is the sweetest girl. She was a great mama. She’s very friendly and social. She does well with children as young as two years old.

Sugar is being fostered with other dogs large and small and loves to play. Loves her toys. We are not sure if she has ever been around cats.

Sugar does great on leash and loves off leash walks in the orchards. She is great in the car and enjoys car rides and uses the doggie door.



An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.
If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.
Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
