Meet SUGAR
Sugar is a 6 year old silver lab who was rescued from a farm where she was living in an outdoor kennel without proper food, water, or shelter and was covered in urine/feces.
Sugar is a very easy dog to love and care for. She is a sweet, affectionate wiggle butt. She is slowly learning to sit, stay, come, and give paw. She has the softest, shinest coat and loves belly rubs, treats, toys, huhs, kisses and all attention.
Sugar loves to play with other dogs, is submissive and settles easily. A good fit for Sugar is a fairly active person/family willing and able to take Sugar for walks in the neighborhood/parks. She would do well with children over the age of 5. She would like another dog in the home for companionship and to play with but this is not required. Since Sugar was rescued from a neglectful farm situation, she has grown to love frequent human contact. She absolutely loves to be near her humans and just wants to be in the same room with them. She really needs and would thrive best in a home where someone is home throughout the day and allows her to sleep in the same room.
Sugar is treat and food motivated and is learning to be gentle. She adores flavored Nyla bones and carries them around like a cigar
