Meet stumpy in falls church va

Stumpy is a friendly, playful, small but stocky dog who was rescued in Afghanistan and has been in a series of shelters and fosters for the past year. He really needs a loving home and is eager and affectionate with everyone he meets. He is overweight but on a diet now, and he loves to take long leash walks and play. He adores children and is fine with dogs who pass when he is on a leash walk, but he is nervous interacting with new dogs in a closed yard or home, especially around food. He would need time to adjust to a resident dog but he has good intentions. He is now fostering in Falls Church, Virginia, and is available to meet and greet any time.
