Meet Stormy
The first step in our adoption process is the application. Completed applications take priority over inquiries.
Stormy is in currently in a southern foster home, and will be transported north AFTER adoption!

Introducing Stormy! We think that Stormy is a Min Pin/Kelpie mix according to her size, stature, and colors. She is now 5 months old and about 8lbs. She should stay under 20lbs full-grown.
Stormy came from a small shelter in rural Arkansas. She was about 4-5 weeks old at the time and they were trying to adopt her out to the public. Luckily for her, we were able to get her and it is a good thing we did. This poor baby was sick and had the contagious mange. She was barely eating and was nothing but skin and bones when we got her. Her situation was critical and she spent several weeks in the hospital. She spent weeks recovering, gaining weight and getting strong. She started playing with the other puppies and can keep up with them now. Sometimes she gives them a run for their money! Now she's beautiful, healthy, strong and ready for her forever home!
Stormy is a very sweet and friendly little girl. She loves loves loves to play with her foster puppy brothers and sisters. She is feeling well and now living the life of a puppy; getting into all kinds of puppy mischief and puppy shenanigans. She also likes to cuddle and enjoys lap time once she is ready to chill. She would do best in a home with an active small dog to romp and play with. She has not been around small children, so we recommend a home with children school age and over.
Stormy is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines (entire puppy series), spayed, microchipped and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
As with all of our dogs, we recommend a basic obedience class to help her understand what is expected of her, and this also helps with the bonding process.
Stormy‘s adoption fee is $500, which covers all her vetting, preventatives, fostering costs and transportation. There are no additional fees. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 2
