Stormy Husky Cypress, TX

Meet Stormy! Stormy appeared to be dumped at the entrance of a new construction neighborhood. She was malnourished and almost hairless, her bright red skin looked so painful. But she stayed right where she was left for a day or two, waiting for her family to return, and she wouldn’t go to kind people trying to help her. Once she was rescued, we quickly learned that her kennel is her safe place. She runs straight inside and is comfortable resting for 6-8hrs.
Stormy is very dog friendly, she is playful and energetic but will quickly submit to any playmate that tells her they need a timeout. She is curious about cats but she hasn’t chased or been a threat to a cat. She just eagerly wants to meet them even if the cat doesn’t want to be friends yet.
She loves and respects all humans big and small. Stormy is affectionate but not a clinger. She knows her basic commands and gets so excited to show them off that when you ask her to sit, she looks at you with her piercing sky blue eyes and immediately sits, lays down & gets back up to shake your hand - all in one go. Her favorite thing of all is FOOD! Stormy is very food motivated. Her family will be able to train her to do anything with the promise of a treat.
Stormy will be a joyful addition to a family. She could be best friends with a playful doggie sibling or the only child of an active person who takes her on adventures. Apply below to meet this special girl!?
