Stormy’s best nickname is “Al Pastormy” but we also refer to her as “best dog ever”!! Stormy is seriously amazing! She is lazy. She is quiet. She is gentle. She is crate and potty trained! She is amazing.

Her name might be Stormy, but she is scared of storms. She likes to be in a nice dark place (her crate) during storms.

Stormy’s favorite thing in the entire world is cuddling with her people. She will burrow her head into you and make piggy noises. She is used to being in the crate when no one is home, but we think she could easily be left out of a crate as she doesn’t get into anything she shouldn’t and is 100% potty trained. Stormy also loves sleeping in bed with her humans (although she’ll just as happily slumber in her crate overnight). It is pretty funny to watch her jump that short stocky body into bed too! Did we mention she is very lazy? She might be the most potato couch potato we’ve ever met. Do you work from home? No problem, she’ll lounge on the couch or a dog bed all day with you.

This house hippo is very gentle when taking treats, and she will also give gentle loving kisses sometimes too! While she is all muscle and a beefy girl, she is easy to walk on a leash (again, she’s pretty lazy). Stormy is also a take anywhere dog! We’ve had her at adoption event with other dogs, kids and lots of people and she’s thrived. She’d be a great patio dog for a night out!

One of our favorite parts about Stormy is how quiet she is. She rarely barks (honestly not sure if we’ve ever heard her bark). The only sound she makes is when she makes little grunts while pushing her head into you for cuddles.

Stormy will always be excited to see you! When you first see her in the morning she will spin and jump up on you because she’s just so happy! We cannot wait to meet this beautiful girl’s forever family!
