Meet Storm

Storm is a very special dog who is now available for adoption after months of recuperation. Storm was found as a stray in Rockingham County and was suffering from an old injury to her back leg, malnourished and afraid. She's responded well to treatments here and the vets determined that the injury to her leg does not require attention other than join supplements.

Storm has been with her foster family for the last several months. While in their care she's lived with their three dogs and been around lots of people and young children. She rides well in the car, makes two and four legged friends with ease and has great manners in the house.

Storm was recently assessed around cats in the shelter and we think she could learn to live with cats. Slow introductions to cats (and dogs) in the new home are the key to success.
