Meet Sterling
Foster Update: He is doing great, such a sweetheart! Went for a long, rainy walk downtown and he wanted to say hi to every person and dog he passed. He was so well behaved. He sacked out on the couch for a while after that!
Meet Sterling a 9-month-old gorgeous pitty mix. Look at that coat and beautiful eyes. He is a darn good dog. Smart as a whip. Our Southern partner was blown away by the commands he learned just while I was running his HW test. He has extremely good focus. He smiles non-stop , she doesn't think he has ever seen a happier shelter dog. Well, until you leave him outside in a yard by himself, then he cries like a baby girl. He was definitely someone’s dog. Animal control picked him up. Someone described him perfectly. He has the body and thick tail of a Lab, but with a head that looks more Pittie. He’s good in his kennel. They been working on leash manners and he is doing much better with his pulling. He wants to play with everybody. Sterling will be in Maine 4/19.
