A note from Steel's amazing foster family:

Meet Steel! I can't say enough good things about this guy! He is a very well mannered snuggle bug looking for a soft place to land. We've had Steel a little over a month now, and watching the stresses of the shelter shed off has been a treat. His sad eyes would have fit perfectly on one of the aspca commercials, but he's a happy boy now! What we know so far:

Loves people. He enjoys being in the same area as his people always. Enjoys snuggles on the couch when you ask him to come up.
Enjoys toys. Not a big ball fan, but likes his tough chewer stuffies, and bene bones.
Potty trained. Always a huge plus! Not a single accident anywhere. He let's you know when he has to go. He also knows how to use a dog door.
Good car rider. He lays in the back quietly.
Lower energy. He's his most excited right out of the crate, but after his potties he calms down. He seems good with whatever you want to do, whether you want to go for walks or hang on the couch.
Knows sit and shake ("paw" is his preferred command). We've been working on down and making progress! He takes treats a little more open mouthed if he doesn't know you. He's begun taking treats quite gently from us though.
He is cat friendly. He will let a cat snuggle up close to him.
Dog tolerant! He's done well with all his interactions thus far. He doesn't play a whole lot, but likes a little game of tug once he's comfortable. I would say slower introductions are best, as well as a calmer play friend. He definitely prefers his people, though.
