Starla - great girl! American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Montclair, NJ

Beautiful Starla is a Pittie Pie with a passion for fashion!! Whether a wearing a onesie jammie set or a stylish unicorn rain coat this girl knows how to turn heads! How can a girl with such style remain overlooked?! She has been with us for some time and we all love this big strong girl. Starla had entropion, a condition where her eyelids were growing into her eyes and causing her pain and discomfort. Thanks to @RBARI in Oakland, her surgery was sponsored for both spay and eyes, and she looks and feels great.

Starla is about 6 years old, friendly & sweet and she makes new men in her life work for her love. She walks well on leash, like to keep her yard clear of small furry creatures (squirrels beware!) and knows some basic commands. She is very food motivated and takes treats gently. She makes the best snorty sounds like a big velvet piggy and keeps us all laughing. During her stay with us, Starla has made several dog friends and is a great pack walker. She has been very tolerant of some of the younger, exuberant dogs once she knows them as long as they don’t get slobber on her outfit. She would love a quiet, adult family that will give her a good balance of play time, couch time, a reasonable monthly allowance to buy cool outfits and treats.
