Starburst Black Labrador Retriever Mix Richmond Hill, ON

I'm Starburst and I'm just a burst of love! I'm a female black lab mix and approximately 4 months old. I'm vaccinated and dewormed. I've been working hard on my training and practicing sit, stay, drop it, leave it and my leash skills! I am a puppy so leash training will come with time as long as you're patient.

I love a good squeaky toy, kong or stuffy bone. I also enjoy playing fetch with the little girl who lives in my foster home. I can be a bit timid and was a little nervous of the passing cars when out and about. With time an exposure, I should be able to build some confidence with your help and these fears will be a thing of the past. Like my sister I was curious about the shower but was more interested in being held once I was in there.

I live with a few other dogs in my foster home and we all get along famously. I'd be happy to have a sibling in my forever home! I haven't met a cats but my calm nature says I'd likely be fine with them. I've been very gentle with both the big humans and little ones and strangers don't seem to bother me at all! I'm working on my potty training, I have had accidents in the house. I find what works best is to be let out every hour during the day, once I figure out that outside is where I need to do my business you will be able to decrease the amount of times I need to go out. If you are willing to do crate training (which I haven't had yet) getting me out for a bathroom break immediately after coming out of the crate should help stop the accidents as well.

So far I'm good in the car and will continue to be with frequent and short adventures in it! Could I be the one for you?
