Meet Special Needs Curtis

Curtis was found 2 months ago in Curtis Canyon running around by himself. He is around 2 years old and is a special needs dog. Curtis is believed to have Wobbler Syndrome and is in need of a very intensive and expensive surgery to live a life free of pain!

Wobbler Syndrome is a life-long neurological disease that affects the spine in the neck of dogs.
Symptoms include:
+ A wobbly or swaying gait
+ Short or "floating" steps with the front legs
+ Stumbling or irregular walking or running
+ Difficulty standing
+ Neck pain
+ Scuffed nails
+ A lack of voluntary muscle coordination

We are looking for a special individual who has the time and resources to devote to our special boy Curtis!

He would do best in a household WITHOUT dogs and cats!
