Star Terrier & Jindo Mix Vancouver, BC

**Note: Currently, Star is in Korea but we are looking for her forever home in Vancouver. Her flight from Korea to Vancouver is scheduled for Dec 23.

Background: Star is a delightful puppy rescued from Chuncheon City in August 2024 along with her mother, siblings, and brother Bumblebee. She's been living in our partner shelter since then, growing up around other dogs and developing excellent social skills. Star is now eager to find her forever home.

Personality and Socialization: Star is a sweet and innocent puppy with a happy-go-lucky attitude. Her friendly and loving nature mirrors that of her mother, who is known for her calm and warm temperament. Star adores people and greets everyone with enthusiasm, showing no signs of shyness. Her playful energy and curiosity make her a joy to be around. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to play, especially with energetic canine friends who enjoy a good romp. Star hasn't had any experience with cats or young children yet.

Behaviour: For her age, Star is very well-behaved. She's a calm passenger in cars and handles vet visits with ease. Even bath time doesn't faze her. On walks, she has limited experience as she lives in a shetler environment. But she follows along well, taking in her surroundings with interest. Like most puppies, Star enjoys chewing but can be easily redirected to appropriate toys. She's a quick learner who thrives on routine. While Star prefers to do her business outdoors, she's also comfortable using pee pads when needed.

Health and Diet: Star is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She's parasite and heartworm-negative and receives monthly preventatives. Her diet consists of dry kibble twice daily, and she has no known allergies or health issues.

Ideal Home: Star would thrive in a loving home that can dedicate time for play and daily walks. As a young dog, she'll need patient guidance through training and the occasional mishap. Her sociable nature means she'd love a canine companion to play with. The ideal home would include someone who's frequently present - perhaps a remote worker or retiree - to provide the companionship she craves.
