Meet Star
Star has completed her 10 week training program and has reached the stage where she is ready to transition into a forever home.
She would do best in an adult home or a home with older children (about 14 an older) who will be able to commit to multiple handling lessons before she is to come home where we will be checking in with the family to help with any hiccups that may occur.
She is a dog that resource guards and while we have gone through great lengths to provide both her and any future caregiver the tools to navigate this natural behavior, that does not mean it is gone and that will demand a level of respect from anyone who is interested in her.
