Stan Mixed Breed Bloomfield, NJ

Stan just celebrated 1 year in the shelter system. He was originally found as a stray on 12/4/2021, was adopted twice, but only to be returned shortly after each time. After months of successful training, Stan moved to a Foster Home, but would prove to be "too much" for the resident dog and returned just 1 week later. Stan moved to Green Leaf Pet Resort in September for a change of scenery, training, and boarding, but has had no luck finding a Furever Home there either. Week after week we receive positive reports for him, but sadly to no avail.

Over the last year, Stan has excelled with 2 different training facilities, which proves that he strives on and needs a structured routine. The shelter environment is very structured and we knew all along that he is the best boy when given the chance! Sadly, Stan's failed adoption and foster homes didn't last long enough to implement structure, which allowed him to move in a little “too comfortably.”

Stan makes friends everywhere he goes and now needs help finding his FINAL FUREVER HOME! His time at Green Leaf Pet Resort is coming to an end, and we do NOT want to bring him back to the shelter without a home lined up.
