SS Chase English Springer Spaniel Mix Lacona, NY

Chase has some challenges that he has been dealing with already in his young life. He came to us with limited vision and he may be going completely blind. We have an appointment for him at Cornell's Ophthalmology clinic April 15th and will know more after that visit. The rescue will cover the charges for that visit as well as his neuter, but we are looking for a foster to adopt home in the meantime to love him, show him the ropes and get him settled in to his new life before his vision declines any more. Due to his size, age and vision limitations, foster to adopt requirements are as follows:

•Limited to a distance of 80 miles of Adams, NY so he can get continued vet care at our veterinarians office until adoption.
•Be able to bring all dogs and family members in the home to a meet and greet to be sure they get along. Since chase has other pets in his foster home we believe this won't be an issue for him. He also had children in his previous home so he should do well with kids also.
•A fenced yard is preferred so he accidently doesn't wander off.

Adoptions limited to a 500 mile radius of Pulaski, NY and pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes.
