Meet Sprout
Sprout is like a lion--he is calm, HUGE, expressive, and often looks scarier than he is!
This guy is happiest living with other dogs. Sprout needs a fenced in yard and would need more time to modify his leash reactivity before neighborhood walks or adventures would be peaceful. He can also be reactive in the car when he is the only dog.
His reactivity came out in a lovely home where he was the only dog. Prior to this home, he showed little to no reactivity and was calm, confident, and secure.
Sprout is friendly to dogs of all sizes and ages! He is a great role model for male dogs and has been a kind of dad/grandfather type to some of our other dogs here.
Sprout asks for very little, but deserves the whole world!
He is an easy housemate--non-destructive, clean, and unobtrusive. He will shamelessly beg for all food, all the time, and loves snacks and treats. If he is in the mood to snuggle, he is SO polite about it! Sprout is very clear when he does not want much physical touch, and needs a home where all members will respect his wishes when he wants to be alone.
