Meet Spot

Spot was relinquished by his owner. He is a bit shy of strangers but he warms up very quickly! He loves going on walks and being outside! Spot is a sucker for treats and is overall a very calm, sweet dog!
Update 5/6/23: Today, Spot was retested for his reaction to other dogs, and passed with flying colors! Spot got along with a dog that was larger than him, and once they got all of the sniffing out of the way, they began to play!
Update 6/7/23: Spot was introduced to young children today, and showed interest, but is afraid. Once he warmed up to them, they were able to pet him, but he was still nervous, so we are recommending a home with no children at this point in time.

Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, has age appropriate vaccinations, a rabies vaccination, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet pet food to get you started!
