Hi there, I’m Spike! I’m a 10-week old black lab mix and I weigh about 15 pounds.

I am your quintessential lab puppy…50% playful puppy, 50% A+ snuggler and my tail is ALWAYS wagging! Once I get those zoomies I run around the room at a quick pace. I play a great game of tug o’ war with my littermates and I always try to win! I love getting fawned upon here in my foster home and all the little kiddos do a good job of giving me all their attention…maybe it’s because I’m so cute?! I also have a larger older furry foster brother here I like to follow around. There’s a fenced-in yard in my foster home and I like to romp around in it and gather up all the big sticks-the bigger the better! I am food-motivated which will definitely come in handy when signing up for obedience class. I hear they have the best treats there! Oh and I must not forget to tell you that I love peanut butter. Let’s make sure you have some on hand at all times.

I’m currently working on potty-training and crate training. I know I’ll get there in no time.
