Foster Home Feedback
11/18/24 Foster Feedback: Spigot is such a cool little dog and has been so easy to have in my home. He gets along wonderfully with the resident dogs. He typically is with a small Chihuahua, two midsize terriers and a cattle dog. Spigot loves to play with little dogs but does not like to play with bigger, very playful dogs. He gets overwhelmed by the active large dogs. He feels very comfortable with women and children who are respectful of his small size. Spigot can be a little nervous around new men, but typically settles in. His potty training is going great, and he is perfect in a kennel. He loves nothing more than to follow me around and sit on my lap. He is such a sweet and loving little dog. Spigot would make an excellent companion for anyone looking for a little guy in their life!
10/15/24 Foster Feedback: Spigot is the sweetest lil guy you'll ever meet! He gets along with everyone - people (adults & respectful kids), dogs and cats! He was recently neutered and is still learning not to mark in the house. I have been using a belly band off and on with him to prevent accidents along with re-starting his potty training. He is making strides and keeping the belly band dry! He is good in a kennel (I kennel him when I am gone and overnight). He will whine a little at the start but settles down in 5-10 minutes. He is quiet all night.
Spigot's an awesome little dog who is pretty low key. He loves to sit with you on the couch and snuggle! Snatch him up, he will not be in rescue long!
**
Spigot is anaplasmosis positive. This is a tick-borne illness, and he is currently being treated with Doxycycline. To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org
