Meet Specks! This adorable boy is an absolute delight to be around and is ready to find his forever home!

Please note that Specks does not do well with change and will need an adopter who is committed to giving him the time and space he needs to decompress in his new home. He is an absolute lover boy who bonds closely with his people, but needs to have time to understand the situation first.

From his current foster: "Specks has a heart full of love and craves every bit of attention you can offer! He's a true cuddle bug who will snuggle next to you all night long. He gets zoomies when he is excited, and he loves to play with his squeaker toys. Though he has some anxieties to work through, his eagerness to please is helping him make great strides in general obedience. With slow introductions and patience, he's on track to become a perfect companion and family addition. Specks does well on the leash and gets along with his new dog friend, Cayde. Overall, Specks is making wonderful progress and is eager to find his forever home where he can share his endless affection.

Specks has a HUGE smile and he is sure to keep you laughing with his silly antics! This boy brings a positive energy to any atmosphere and he's a staff favorite with his silly shenanigans! You won't be disappointed in his cutie patootie!

From his foster: "lil Specs update from the days he was with me :)) Specs has THE biggest heart and just wants every ounce of love and attention you have! He is the biggest cuddle bug and will sleep next to you all night long! He has some anxieties he needs to work through, but since he's young i have no doubt they will be resolved quickly! with slow introductions and patience he will make the perfect companion for anyone! Specs does great on the leash and is not aggressive towards his kitty friends, however he gets so excited when they come to play that he scares them a bit. Since Specs is a littler nervous and tends to jump he might do best in a household without small children just so he doesn't knock them over! Overall Specs has so much love to give and cannot wait to find his forever person!

ADOPTION FEE: $500


We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event.

Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications.

We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! Check our Instagram and/or Facebook page for info on where we will be hosting adoptions this weekend!

All Aboard Animal Rescue saves dogs and puppies from high-kill shelters in other states. These pups are brought to Colorado, where they are required to be spayed or neutered - breaking the cycle of unwanted litters of puppies who end up as strays!
