Speckles is a sassy, fun Cattle Dog mix! She is excitable and always up for adventure. This girl would be happy to play at home, go on a hike, or just run errands with her people. She loves meeting new people, car rides, snuggle time, and anything that involves her humans. She is so friendly with people and when strangers come up to her, she is friendly as can be. Speckles does well with children too! She is intelligent and would love to continue training commands in her forever home! She loves to chew on her bones and play with her stuffy toys, but no promises that the stuffing guts will stay inside the toy haha!

Speckles gets overexcited when around other dogs and though she plays well at first, she takes it too far and can cause tiffs with the other dogs in her home. For this reason, we think it is best if she not have other dogs in her home unless she had an owner committed to slow introductions and training to get the dogs integrated. Speckles does not do well with cats. We hope that her incompatibility with other animals does not overshadow how AMAZING this gorgeous girl is. We hope someone will give her a chance to show just how great of a companion she will be.

Speckles is potty trained and kennel trained. She is 50lbs and estimated to be 3 years old!

Speckles is located in Fort Worth, TX. We do transport dogs to Colorado straight to your home once you are approved to adopt. We understand the importance of matching the right dog up with the right family, so our process includes phone calls, picture and video exchanges, as well as FaceTime meetings so you can meet the dog virtually in many ways and discuss your preferences with us to determine if the dog is a good fit. We do charge a $250 transport fee on top of the dog's adoption fee.
