Sparky West Highland White Terrier / Westie & Parson Russell Terrier Mix Beaverton, OR

Meet Sparky!

This adorable 15 week old (at the end of October) puppy might be a Westie/Parson Terrier mix, but we really don’t know for sure. He has a soft wire coat, longish legs, and the cutest little wisps of hair on the tips of his ears. He weighs about 9 pounds and full grown might be about 15 to 18 pounds. Sparky is super smart! We are crate training him and he already holds it until we bring him outside and he immediately does his business.

Sparky is very friendly and playful. He is definitely all puppy energy so he needs regular exercise and training, He is really a special little guy.

When he first came to us, Sparky was very hesitant to be around other dogs. It made him very insecure. Luckily, another puppy came to stay in his foster home, and after a couple of days of supervised introductions, the two became BFFs. Now, he and Wheeler (also posted) play, constantly, running and wrestling in the yard (see pics). it helped Sparky come out of his shell so much having Wheeler to interact with.

We would love to place the two boys, who we call “brothers from another mother”, go to a home together so they will grow into well socialized adult dogs. Having another young dog in a pack is ideal for young dogs while they are growing up.
