Meet Sophia, a gentle and dignified pup who is curious, athletic, funny and smart! Sophia, renamed Skeeter by her foster family, is a beautiful girl with a sweet and playful nature. She came to us from a local shelter as an unclaimed stray, where she quickly won the hearts of all the staff.
Although she is slow to warm up to people she doesn't know, once you have gained her trust, you will have a loyal and loving friend for life. Skeeter is approximately 2 years old and, although she is still perfecting her house manners, she is eager to please and quick to learn. She is crate-trained and, although she prefers to sleep in foster mom’s bed at night . She loves other dogs and playing with her favorite toys.
A securely fenced yard is a must for this talented escape artist, who can squeeze through the smallest of gaps. She adores her foster sibling and playing with other dogs at the dog park, and would really love to have a playful companion in her forever home.
