Sophia is a very lovable and affectionate gal! She is house-trained and she enjoys leash walks. Sophia is good with kids and people. Sophia has lived with a cat, but does not bother her. We rescued Sophia when we discovered she and her new litter of puppies were stranded out in the cold harsh winter conditions. Sophia was a nurturing momma. Her puppies were all weaned and are in loving homes. Sophia was adopted to a loving home also, but was recently returned when a change in life forced them to move and not be able to take Sophia with them. Anyone who is looking for a larger dog will be lucky to add Sophie into their life. She weighs just under 60 pounds and is full of love. She will never have the burden of an unwanted pregnancy. Sophia is now spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped. She is approximately 3 years old as of May 2018. she is a friendly, laid-back gal. She spends her days loose indoors. She is leash trained. She knows basic commands, such as sit, lay, down and wait. Sophia is believed to be a Datamation and/or Pointer mix. She may have Pointer in her because Sophia has been seen to do the "Pointer stance."
