Sookie Shepherd & Akita Mix Manhattan, KS

Hi, I'm Sookie, the vampire! I have a very serious & dark look, but I am a very goofy & happy girl :) I'm a 1 year old female shepherd, I only weight 32#. I have not always had the best life ;( I came into the shelter with entropion, my eyelashes turned into and scraped my eye, super painful! I also had old injuries to my tail, it was broken in two places!! But, my life is sooo much better now that I'm at a PPAWS foster home ;) I had my eye fixed and to everyone's surprise, I have a beautiful BLUE eye!! I get to hang with 3 other canine buddies, we walk every day for miles and when I run I look like a white tail deer! I get lots of bully sticks cuz I love to chew. I am very smart and am house trained and crate trained. I try to hug my mom a lot and give her lots of kisses!
I used to have panic attacks if anyone tried to put something around my neck! Now I can be leashed up and will walk with you on a leash. I am spayed, I am heartworm negative and have had all my vaccines. I have found my voice and often tell everyone what I think! I will need a young canine friend/s, a fair amount of exercise, a patient pet parent and a nice fenced back yard. I am cat friendly but sometimes have to tell them off, for not playing with me!
