Sookie Shepherd & Akita Mix Manhattan, KS

Hi, I'm Sookie the vampire! I'm a young female shepherd, I only weight 32# and am about 1 year old. I have not always had the best life ;( I came into the shelter with entropion, my eyelashes turned into my eye, super painful! I also had old injuries to my tail, it was broken in two places!! But, my life is sooo much better naw that I'm at a PPAWS foster home ;) I had my eye fixed and to everyone's surprise, I have a beautiful BLUE eye!! I get to hang with 3 other canine buddies, we walk every day for miles and when I run I look like a white tail deer! I get lots of bully sticks, cuz I love to chew and I am learning to trust my foster mom. I am very smart and of course am house trained and crate trained. I try to hug my mom a lot and give her lots of kisses! We are working on leash training, cuz any restraint sends me into a panic attack, like I said, I have been treated badly. I got spayed, I am heartworm negative and have had all my vaccines. I am pretty much ready for a furever home, I will need a young canine friend/s, a fair amount of exercise, a patient pet parent and a nice fenced back yard. I am cat friendly but sometimes have to scold them for not playing with me!
