SONOMA (Hoppy)

Sonoma is a loving and charming four year old hound mix. He LOVES to cuddle and lean up against his “person”. He loves to play fetch, and spends his mornings running around the yard with the other dogs. He gets along with other dogs and cats, but children are unknown.

Sonoma has had puppy, intermediate and adult training, and he excelled at all three. He walks very well on a leash and really just wants to please his person.
Sonoma is a distemper and adenovirus survivor. The distemper has left him with a myoclonic jerk of his left front leg. This slows him down a little but not much!
Filling out an application is the first step in adopting Sonoma.

Arizona Desert Rotti & Pals Rescue is a NO KILL rescue serving Tucson and the surrounding area.
A home visit is usually required for the safety of our animals. We check the yard to make sure this little pup cannot escape, no predator can get in, and also look for hazardous plants.
We prefer you have a secured, fenced yard, it’s a requirement for the safety of the dog. At the end of the application, please include the type of fencing and the height of the fence you have around your yard.

Once you have filled out the adoption application, someone will contact you about the dog to answer your questions and tell you where our Sunday adoption event is held.
